The smell of paradise.

At the Maldivian Airport, the next island to Male, the capital, checked out and immigration took 10 mins and we were picked up by a Jumeirah Vittavelli's staff and within 1 min walk we were escorted to out private speedboat to the island.

As a kid, the first book I read in school was Robinson Crusoe, although in the fiction book, isle Robinson Crusoe is in Fiji, this was my time to re live my childhood dreams, but in Maldives.

The only difference was that they had everything here you could possibly want, fine restaurants Finesse, a sunset bar with all the top shelf and fine imported wines some just shy of $10 G's a bottle, cigars, a personal butler, super friendly staff. all the water sports you can dream of, parasailing, fantastic drop off natural reef, lots of fish and tailored catering to special requests. you could request almost anything here and they will try to make your dream come true!!

Jumeirah Vittavelli Resort  is ranked in the top 20 of the of the most Elite resorts in Maldives.

The Jumeirah brand are no strangers in the luxury chain of hotels, the flagship hotel is the top of 7 (7⭐️) hotels in the world, some others on the list yet to complete building and most are in the Middle East. Google it!
Burj Al Arab located in Dubai, UAE
is the number one seven star hotel in the world. Ok enough of that spill.

Here are the sunset pics that speak for itself.

Going to paradise - Destination Maldives

Now to our next destination, it's a short stopover in Singapore to leave our winter clothes and pick up the clothes for paradise!

On our way to Maldives... Made up of approximately 1800 plus islands, a paradise destination for the people that enjoy romance, retreats, the finest of service and seclusion.

Once a dream holiday for us as a family, and now a reality, at the request of my dearest wife and lovely daughter.

I'd never really kicked off my shoes in most of my travels, as I passionately  learn more about cultures first hand and also do personal research for my interests in Ethnographic art and tattoo.

This trip is purely to relax and enjoy this luxurious experience.

We have researched this location for a week and with feedback received, I'm also going to try everything first hand for for feedback for family's travel business to recommend this to our future clients.

Leaving Vietnam

My family and I had such a great time in Vietnam, guides were spectacular, locations fantastic and so were the people.

Great clean food was not out of reach, but read and research the lonely planet.

There were a few highlights like Sapa, Halong Bay, Hue and HoAnn. You really got to see it to understand its inner beauty of this Country.

Probably one of the finest restaurants we have been to to date was Madam Hui's in Hanoi. French-Vietnamese cuisine. It was mind blowing and service was second to none. I don't have photos as i was salivating by the presentation and smell of fresh produce.

Next...

The Verdana resort was a superb place with warm personal and very accommodating staff.
