Horikazu Sensei - A prolific Tattoo Master

Received this amazing book by Martin Hladik in the mail today. Horikazu Sensei was one of most accomplished horishi, a traditional tattoo (Tebori) master for 4 decades. An amazing person and master that @horihiro and I had the honor of meeting at his studio in Akasuka.

Two great masters HoriKazu and HoriHiro  discussing a tattoo.

This image taken by Martin Hladik also in the HORIKAZU book. Here he is explaining a tattoo to us. That was a very special day for us and unfortunately our last meeting.

Rest in Peace Horikazu Sensei

Karma!

Had the pleasure of doing something simple yet very meaningful today on Luke

To live life with purpose is the only way.

According to Buddhism, this inequality is due not only to heredity, environment, "nature and nurture", but also to Karma. In other words, it is the result of our own past actions and our own present doings. We ourselves are responsible for our own happiness and misery. We create our own Heaven. We create our own Hell. We are the architects of our own fate.

Narlai Safari

Her are more images from Narlai Royal residence. Images of both Lala and his cousin are here wearing the red turbans.
They were super friendly and awesome people!
Next day.
We went on a safari ride with the royal jeep and guard as escort and guide.

Below... Guard escort and guide stopping by an important quarry.

Also visited one of the most awesome temples that worship shiva. The cobras were painted on natural rock and is sacred to Shiva.

Lala the butler

And his cousin also called Lala. Pic taken at the residence.

Finally at the Royal Family Stable for a horseback safari. The Marwari horse  is descendents of war horses that served the ruling families and warriors of India, from early history. They were declared divine and superior to all men, including those of Royal blood. Only the Rajput families and warrior caste were permitted to mount these horses. We were fortunate to mount them.

Rajasthan India. Staying at the royal residence

Been looking back on my adventures and family trips, and it brought back memories blissful experience with my family. Narlai, Rajastan, India. At the summer Royal hunting residence. I managed to organize a private dinner for my family at the 600 year old soak well , a fantastic Thali fine dining experience by private bullock cart limo and butlers fine dining under the stars with a huge campfire and a few hinder candles. Pure Bliss! A night to remember..
Lala and his cousin Lala, awesome butlers in this residence that made our stay a super experience.

Being greeted by a member of the royal family.

The view..... Pure bliss

The soak well from our view

The soak well from the other end. The campfire is where we dined.
