"Finest known" Aboriginal West Australian Kimberly Shield offered at Mossgren Auction

Hot News!! Thank to the Australian Financial Review and to Peter Fish for a great article highlighting one of many of my finest pieces from my private collection up for sale at Mossgreen on the 20th May 2015. I have had great pleasure enjoying it daily for some time now and it's time to share this gem, the "Finest Known" West Australian North Kimberly Shield also known as iwinu or jinyen as mentioned by another authority, Kimberley art specialist, anthropologist and author Kim Akerman, says it's one of the finest known.
This shield is very well suited in a display in an institution or museum for everyone to enjoy. It's a Monumental, Extraordinary and Important Ceremonial Shield.      http://www.afr.com/lifestyle/arts-and-entertainment/art/finest-known-aboriginal-shield-the-big-draw-at-pinto-art-auction-20150429-1mvxoj

My tools.

My favorite Japanese traditional tebori hand tattooing tools, sumi ink stick and Sakura grinding stone. This is the premium sumi. Had this tested. This sumi and grinding stone pair has the finest and most consistent molecular structure of all other traditional and conventional tattoo inks on the market today. The Japanese know their quality!!
