Indigenous houses of Vietnam

On my last visit to Vietnam, on the second part of the museum of Ethnology in Hanoi, they have a selection of original ethnic houses move and reconstructed in situ. I can appreciate the amount of work going into this large "living exhibition". I will add that it looks very authentic, giving it a similar feel to the cultural village in dayak and orang Ulu in Sarawak Borneo.

The Ede longhouse - has carved house support posts and ladders that can be compared to Naga (north east India) carving. 

Carved step of the Ede - female breasts adorn the top of this step- the other side for the male.

The roof support beam with animal motif ,turtle ,lizard and on the other side ( not pictured) was elephant carvings.

A single piece of hardwood carved table . In my opinion a timeless style of simplistic artwork
